About Me

Well, you’ve reached my “About Me” page, and this one is, you guessed it, about me.  Hi there. I’m Matt.

I was a lucky child of the 80’s and 90’s, and was surrounded by all the techy goodness those eras provided, starting with the Commodore 64 (where I wrote my very first “Hello World” program and wiled away hours on Frogger) and the IBM 8088 (where I wasted countless hours playing wordmuncher and Beast).

Eventually I worked my way though a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, and now am gainfully employed in the Public Sector.  Yes, it’s true, they actually PAY me to do this now.  It’s crazy to me too.

My lifelong affair with tech has taken me down some pretty interesting paths, working in education, tech sales, System Administration, and software development.  I write about my latest projects, occasional random diatribes, and generally have a great time talking about my work, my hobby, and all things computers.  If I sound like a good fit for your next project, send me a message, I’d love to discuss it with you.
